Outlook 2010 Cut and Paste of Files Issue

Sorry to annoy, I'm sure this has been addressed. But I'm experiencing a problem cutting and pasting files from one email to another. Obviously I'll cut it and attempt to paste it in a new email; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Opened the clipboard when it occures and I get a "Clipboard does not support this type of file." The files are the standard extensions - nothing exotic.

I know one can drag and drop, but my Attorney insists he doesn't have time to line the emails up.

Any suggestions?
