    A non address label?

Win7 + Office '03 (only because I still can't figure out my Word '07 merge)

I need to generate labels with a comment, not an address, to attach to the the back of a bunch of envelopes.

How can I 'generate' n number of labels off one text example?

I have always done labels using Excel. Start Mailmerge, labels and etc. Put a header on the excel sheet called First name, and put your message(s) under that. Office 3 was just a little more difficult than Office 10 IMHO. OR..go to mailings, create, labels and input message if the message is the same on all the labels. ?

I did something like that once, I just made a page table that matched the printable lables, pasted the message into each cell. and printed the number of pages required.

When I do labels in Word it's a merge (or whatever) from a selection of contacts within a category in Outlook. So when you consequently tell Word to generate and print the labels the quantity is automatically the number of contacts selected.

Which is my problem. I don't know how, whether it be Word or Excel, to tell the label generator to create (for instance) 65 copies of the same label 'blah, blah, blah'?

Problem solved with alternative. I just downloaded the Avery Label Wizard add in for Word. The thing does exactly what I need it to and it makes doing so in Word '07 simple so I don't need to move to my wife's computer to do labels anymore
