Hey all, first post for me here. I had to re install Windows today, but I seemed to have lost my Key and Disk for Office 2007 (I have the program files in a backup if that will help at all). Basically: am i screwed?
My school sells Office 2010 for 20$ (or so I hear), but I have no money and it would be great if I didn't have to fork out cash for new Office software when I already spent over 100$ on it.

Unless that backup is a system image backup to be able to restore the installation of Windows 7 that had your Office installed in it, then I'm afraid you are out of luck.
$20 for a student copy of Office 2010 from your school is a great deal. Go for it. Just be sure to keep it's disk and key in a safe place.
