Outlook 2010 Sent Items subfolder question

    Hello,

In Sent Items I have dedicated sub-folders for various people like:

    Sent Items
    - Folder Person1
    - Folder Person2...

And when I send emails to them, emails do appear in their folders, however I also have those emails in Sent Items "root" folder.

Is there any way to make this doesn't happen?

I want Sent Items folder to have emails that I have sent only to people who don't have their dedicated folders in Sent Items (same as Inbox does - when I receive email from someone I have his folder in Inbox, email will go there, but no copy to Inbox "root" folder).

In Rules for outgoing mails, I only have this option "move a copy to the specified folder", unlike rules for incoming where you have "move message to specified folder".

    Cheers,
    Miki

Hmm, I know you can change the color of the emails going out. What happens if you make them blue and red, and then manually move them? I know ... not a solution, just wondering if you can manually move them, as you've noticed you can't automatically.

I can always manually delete them, but it's quite a pain. I'm looking for a system solution.

    Didn't know about colors though.

    Not so awesome I'm afraid.

This is good solution if you send email to ONE person having its folder in Sent Items. However if I send email to several persons with their folders, only one person will get email saved in his folder (based on rules priority list). For others I have no trace of sending email to them....

Working in corporate environment, this is even worse than manually deleting mails.

    Quest continues...
