    To do what you want requires you to use Visual Basic in Excel.

    Excel VBA Tutorial - Easy Excel Macros

    Other than post the links as I did, there's little more advice I can give you.

    If you find it too complex, do you have a friend or work colleague to help explain things to you?

    If it's an ASCII type conversion you want
    Insert tab > Symbol > select from: eg.ASCII decimal
    type the number -> you get the symbol
