Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate license I recently bought Office 2007 Ultimate and would like to have it on my laptop and desktop. I know MS doesn't like this for the OS itself, but Office shouldn't be a problem, right? I use my desktop for documents at home but sometimes I use my laptop when I'm away and it would be inconvenient if I have to buy another license just to install the program on it legitimately. And if that isn't an option, if I decided to do it anyway, would MS send death ninjas to my door step? | My System Specs |

I believe the license on Office is two computers.....?
You would need to read the EULA.

Office is typically licensed for two machines -- one "home" and one "portable". | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Q6600 @ 3.0GHz Motherboard Abit IX38 Quad GT Memory 4GB DDR2-1066 Graphics Card GTX260 Sound Card HT Omega Striker Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 24" Screen Resolution 1920x1200 Keyboard Eclipse 2 Mouse MX518 PSU 700W Thermaltake Case Antec P182 Cooling Freezer7 Pro Hard Drives 250GB Seagate Internet Speed 16Mbps |

See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/he...340811033.aspx "Read the Microsoft Software License Terms". Section 2 "Installation and Use Rights" tells you how many computers (and what types of computers) you can install your copy of Office on. Generally speaking, an OEM (preinstalled) copy of Office 2007 Standard is licensed for installation only on the computer that the software came with, and a retail-box copy of Office 2007 Standard is licensed for installation on one desktop and one laptop (or pc) owned by the same person. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number tw33k OS Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) SP1 CPU Intel 3770k 4.6GHz Motherboard ASUS Maximus V Formula Memory 8GB (2x 4GB) Crucial Ballistix Graphics Card Sapphire 7950 (1060/1600) Sound Card On Board Realtek HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays 27" Acer B273HU (via HDMI) Screen Resolution 2048 x 1152 Keyboard Microsoft Wireless 5000 Mouse Microsoft Wireless 5000 PSU Corsair AX750 Gold Case Corsair Obsidian 800DW Cooling Corsair H100 (2x AP-121/2x UK-3000 push/pull) Hard Drives Crucial M4 128GB

Different but related question. My HD is about to kick the bucket. I have all my license keys saved to a printed text file. I plan to replace my hard drive but no longer have my Office Ultimate (among others) CD/DVDs to reinstall. Where can I get the Office Ultimate software? Again, I have my legal Key and just need the software. Can anyone help? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell/M1530 OS Windows 7 |

How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and product upgrades, and replace product manuals
Unfortunately, this is only for the USA & Canada. Haven't located a similar link for Germany. (Which versions do you want, anyway? English or German?)

I'm looking for US English version of Office 2007 Ultimate. As I said, I have it currently installed and working but my HD is on it's last leg and I just need the software to re-install using my current Key. Short of ordering a replacement disk from Microsoft, does anyone know where I can download the SW? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell/M1530 OS Windows 7 |
