Change OneNote from web to this computer only

I just decided to try Office's OneNote. When I ran it the first time, I chose to use it on the web. I didn't really mean to do that and would like to undo it and choose 'On this computer only' but I can't figure out how to go about doing that.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you very much.

You did not list the version of Office/OneNote you have. This is for 2010:

    For your open Notebook,

    1. File > Info
    2. Click on Share on Web or Network hyperlink

Change OneNote from web to this computer only-1note-1.jpg
    3. Click on Network
    4. Leave the Network Location blank

Change OneNote from web to this computer only-1note-2.jpg
    5. Click on Home tab.

    That should do it.

If it doesn't, just create a new Notebook and delete the one you don't want!

    1. File > New
    2. Store Notebook On: My Computer
    3. Give it a Name and Location

    Thank you!

Not only should it do it -- it did perfectly.

    Thanks again.
