Outlook 2010 is included in my windows search list. However, it indexes not only my normal PST & OST, but also my backup PST. My backup PST is rarely open (only when I'm archiving or searching for something). The end result is when I search for any Outlook items, I get the "real" item, then the 15 backups of it, and have no idea which one is the "real" one. If I click on the fake one, nothing happens (because I don't have the archive).
1. Is there some way to exclude this specific PST (archive) from searching? It's not in the search list checked (only my normal OST/PST is checked).
2. Is there a better way to backup my stuff? I don't want to just archive old messages, etc., but also keep a "snapshot" of how everything looked on day X so I can go back in time if I've deleted something.
