hello, what a great little forum. I used the last thread to solve this really annoying feature - it just managed to change the view on its own. I know I didn't switch it. Anyway, great help. Thanks

Thank you very much for commenting, Tom629! I also have no idea how I managed to change the view. (I do know it was a single mouse click I made when a noise startled me.) Anyhow, I am very appreciative that my email is back the way that I like it!
