Applying Advanced appearance Settings to Office 2010

I have adjusted the Advanced Appearance Settings in Control Panel to make my window headings a little larger and bolder. The changes have worked well in all my programs except Office 2010 programs! These programs continue to show the original small, unbolded heading fonts. I have been told on another Windows 7 Forum that Control Panel changes will not work on Office programs, so is there another way to change the Title Bar headings in Office 2010 so that they are a little larger and bolder?

    Many thanks

Take a look at Brink's tutorial:

Window Color and Appearance - Change

Go to Option 2, number 7.

This only works for "Classic" mode, not Aero.

Thank you for this link - I had already made the relevant adjustments outlined in that tutorial prior to asking my question. My problem was that the adjustments for font size etc made thru Control Panel do not seem to work for Office 2010 programs. They work in all other applications, desktop, Windows 7, IE, etc. But they make no difference at all the to the font size on menus and title bars in Word, Excel, Outlook etc. This seems really odd given that Office is part of the Windows family, but presumably Office has a completely separate way of setting its font sizes on its title bars and menus and will not allow that to be overridden by global adjustments from the Control Panel. What I was hoping for was a method of making the title bars etc in Office program a little bigger and bolder, just like Control Panel has done for everything else.
