Actually, I used to see the clipboard thing pop up every time I would paste. But now, I don't see it anymore.

Even when I do the following:"Tools > Options > Edit and tick Show Paste Options buttons" (to have more control), I still do not see it! I wonder if this is part of the problem? Anyway, I can't, as far as I know, choose "keep source formatting" if I can't see the clip board thingy.

Do you think this would be advisable: uninstall and then re-install Word 2003? Is that worth a shot?

I just noticed something that may be important:

All of the sudden, I can now "cut & paste" and the formatting stays the same. So, if I "cut" a bolded word and then "paste" it somewhere in the document, it now pastes in BOLD, whereas before (that is, just earlier today) it would not. I have done NOTHING to anything in order to change this!!!! Lost for explanations...

Does that help you to determine what may be happening?

And again: Back to same problem out of the blue! No more "cutting and pasting" with formatting staying the same. Same old problem back.

What in the world is going on? So frustrating. I know I asked this before, but here it is again: Should I try to re-install WORD 2003?

Is it doing default 2. Use Destination Styles, 3. Match Destination Formatting, or 4.Keep Text Only?
    Test good!
