Recovering Outlook 2010 Rules after Reinstall

My main machine had a hard drive failure. My backup software had a current copy of everything, but for some reason, I cannot properly rebuild my entire drive. I had been contemplating reinstalling Windows 7 and at this point would like to do so.

However, though I have the full data files for email available, I did not have a recent rules export from Outlook 2010. Since I have access to all the files for outlook is there a way to export the rules from the backup version, or is there a way to install the new and then over-write the new version with the old version. My rules are fairly long, so recovering them would save a lot of time.

My backup version of OL 2010 had all fixes applied at the time the drive failed.

Rules Embedded in .PST File in OL 2010

    Found this answer finally:

If you upgraded to Outlook 2010 from a version of Outlook earlier than Microsoft Outlook 2002, you might have an .rwz file on your computer's hard disk drive. The .rwz file is no longer needed, and the information about rules is now kept on the server running Microsoft Exchange, and in the Outlook Data File (.pst) for POP e-mail accounts. You can delete the file.
