I use an online database sytem delivered using html/asp & one of the options is to download a copy invoice in 'rtf' format.
On my new Lenovo all in one PC with Win 7 professional, I have set the Win 7 default program for rtf files to Microsoft Word Starter edition & managed to get it to work fine last night & a file gets downloaded to the browsers download folder, from where I can click on it & get it top open automatically in Word.
However, after doing another download successfully this morning, its now stopped working if I try to click on other copy invoices. No download, no Word.
Could this be something to do with Word Starter Edition being crippled in some way ? On my previous PC I used Libre Office & never had a problem. I can still download & open these files on my laptop without a problem. I have tried with both Chrome & IE9 & its the same with both.
Any thoughts anyone ?
