Can't save file due to sharing violation
Using Office Home and Student 2007 under windows 7 home premium. My wife is having a problem saving changes to files in Word and Excel. The message is "Can not save due to sharing violation".
This only occurs when opening a document, making changes, and then clicking on save icon. Save as works okay. Possibly incidental, we had to replace the motherboard on the desktop a few days ago as it went bad. Of course windows 7 had to be re-activated.
Short of deleting and re-installing office are there any other things I should check?
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
