| | Office 2007 - Disable auto update Hello I want to remove the auto update feature of microsoft office 2007 from sending updates to windows update. How can I do that anyone knows? Thanks |

| | Open the following file in Notepad: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS Add the line: 127.0.0.1 office.microsoft.com Save the file and reboot. That'll kill it dead. But why would you want to?  |

| | You can also add the following but I think it will disable all updates from Microsoft. 127.0.0.1 update.microsoft.com |
