Outlook 2007 Freezes on Start Up

Hello. I am configuring a PC for a new user but his Outlook 2007 freezes when you start it up, including when trying Safe Mode. This happened on his previous computer so it is not specific to this new one. Any ideas?

Check out this Microsoft troubleshooting article: Outlook 2007: Troubleshooting Outlook Crashes

When the fault occurs do you see any error messages on your screen?

I've taken a look into this article the first time this happened on the another computer and I would need some guidance when it comes to using the command line switches, as I don't know when I should use a certain one and the article doesn't say what you should do in case safe mode cannot load, nor what to do when the problem occurs on a difference computer.

I'd like to note that I've already attempted to Repair Microsoft Office, used Scanost.exe and Scanpst.exe to repair any errors, and Microsoft Office Diagnostics found nothing wrong.

No errors pop up either, just the Outlook 2007 logo box and the Outlook window without e-mails or folders.

I solved it myself! I just had to delete the Profile and let Outlook recreate it. Thanks for the help though!

    You're very welcome.

A corrupted profile would certainly explain why the problem appeared on two different computers.

    Thanks for the update.
