    Koolkat,

You did your best and like most problems that we seek answers to, there arn't any!! If there were answers we would live in a perfect world.

Enjoy life so when you get old you will have lots of nice memories. (like I have).

You could also try this... Create a new user account. Shift all your stuff there. Take a back up of your emails and import it in the new user. All the settings in Outlook on a new user will be the default settings of outlook...

I followed the appwiz.cpl. Reinstalled, rebooted. To be brief, nothing has changed. So I will leave it as it is. At this time is appears the the cure is worse than the disease!

Again, I appreciated your help, but it is not necesary for me to remove Office or change user accts for such a small "glitch".

I am getting used to it. I don't have that much email to worry abt . So until I do a reformat and reinstall, I will leave it as is.

    Bye and many thanks.:)

    Koolkat,
    Eureka!!
I got it back to normal!!! How? By chance I went in to "view" on the "top ribbon" and clicked on "Reading Pane" and the arrow head down. Reading Pane Right. You can see the little diagram. So I am back to normal, well as normal as I was(LOL). Unlike Archimedes, I wont run through the streets naked yelling Eureka!! As we say in Aus, Yer blood's worth bottling. PS The simplest solutions are the best!!!

All the very best to you and yours.
