Microsoft Access 2010 Personalized Letter?

Hi Guys

I have a question..

I have a database called customers with their information (First Name, Last Name, street address etc)

I have written a personalized letter and would like to send it to each customer in the database

Dear Joe Bloggs
It is with great pleasure that we would like to inform you ........

Your Sincerly
...............

What I want to do is, Replace "Joe Bloggs" with the name of each of the customers

If I had Sue Rain as a customer the letter would be

Dead Sue Rain
It is with great pleasure that we would like to inform you ........

Your Sincerly
...............

I will need to Email the personalized letter to each customer

Hope someone can help

Mark

You can do this by having Access drive either Outlook or the system's default email program, but you have to do this with VBA code. If you know how to write VBA I can send you some sample code that works. There is a condition though - if the email requires attachments the code is more complex and must use Outlook. If it is just a simple text-only email then the code can be simpler and can use the system's default email program. In my case I had to accommodate attachments (up to 5 of them!) so I had to do the more complex code for Outlook.
