Windows 7: Skydrive/Office connection trouble

Skydrive/Office connection trouble

Hello,

I am struggling mapping my skydrive network. I have tried the automatic route (connecting my account to my Windows Live account, then attempting to "save to web" an Office document), however when I try to save the document, I repeatedly get asked for my username and password, and finally it just gives up.

I also tried the manual way. getting the CID number from the website and trying to map "\\docs.live.net@SSL\*CID#*\*FolderName*" -- It again asks me for my username and password 3 or 4 times, then gives me error message 0x080070043 (The network name could not be found).



Normally google is more than helpful with this type of issues, but I find this one very perplexing, any help would be appreciated!

PS I am using Windows 7 32 bit.

Additionally, if this helps isolate the problem, when I use the Skydrive Simple Viewer, it tells me I have no folders in the Skydrive (which is not true)
