Copy and paste problem from Word 2010 to Yahoo email

I've been having this problem for a while and can't find an exact match for my problem doing a Google search. I'm assuming it's a Windows 7 problem, but I'm not sure.

I copy some text from Word 2010 and paste it into my Yahoo email, but some older text is pasted and not what I just copied. I don't know what is causing this. Would appreciate help from people more computer savvy than me.

how are you selecting the text to copy it?
I am assuming---click in front of text to copy--drag cursor to highlight text--right click--select 'copy'--right click in yahoo mail window--select paste--is working perfectly here--I cannot duplicate your situation

    Tman,

Why would you think to duplicate the problem, assuming there is something wrong with my system or configuration and not yours?

To answer your question, I'm highlighting the text in Word 2010 and then either right-clicking and selecting Cut or using Ctrl-C; then I go to a blank Yahoo email and either right-click and select Paste or use Ctrl-V.

attempting to duplicate problem, eliminates the possibility that it's a win7 problem.

    don't select CUT--select COPY

I'm sorry, I meant to say that I tried both Copy and Cut; neither work and are copying old Clipboard text. I just realized the problem is happening not only pasting into Yahoo emails but also pasting into this forum's thread boxes.

it appears that your clipboard needs emptying--here is a link to a free utility that should take care of the problem--read the description--should be simple.

I tried that program and it said it cleared my clipboard, but it still didn't work. Same problem. (
