Windows 7 - Looong time to install Office 2007

| | Looong time to install Office 2007 It's been over one hour since the installation began and the graph shows about 30% left to go. I wonder if there is something wrong with it. The machine is Athlon XP 2800+ with 2GB(Dual channel). |

| | wow, what else are you doing... over an hour. NO Way, Office 2007 Full install or even Office 14 does not take that long. |

| | The bar graph advnced suddenly quickly after my initial posting, but still it took over one hour. Installation was done from the DVD and selectively for Word, Excell and Office Tools. During the installation the machine was left untouched. I tried those installed and found nothing wrong with them. The power line was interrupted in the middle of the installation process and I had to start over from the beginning. I do not know if this is something to do with abnormally long time to install. |
