Outlook 2003 Pst
Below is the message. I have read responses. However here is what I did.
I had Office 2000 / Outlook Express. I upgraded to Office 2003.
I opened Outlook. I imported all the folders/files from Inbox. This is an IMAP account.
From the mail.server.com I chose a new email. I moved it to a folder named 'Victory'. The local inbox folder Victory has about twenty text messages. Less than
30 kb. When I moved from Imap inbox to local inbox/victory I got the message pasted below. This folder is a tiny *.dbx that was imported from Outlook Express.
Obviously there is no exceeding maximum size. However, if I were to take the whole of local Inbox all the folders and files would be around 3gb. I don't know what to do. Any thoughts will be helpful. thanks
" The file C:\Documents and Settings\Application data\ Microsoft\Outlook\\Outlook2 (pst) has reached its maximum size. To reduce the amount of data in its file- select some items that you no longer need and permanently delete them by pressing SHIFT+DELETE. You could also consider using the new Outlook Personal Folder file (.pst) introduced with Outlook 2003 that provides greater capacity for storing items and folders."
