Excell 2010 Save As question
I am downloading an Excel file from a program on the internet that creates the file. It opens just fine in Excel after downloading, but wants to "Save As" a "Web Page" rather than an Excel spreadsheet. I have changed the default "Save As" to the XLSX file.
The "save as" works fine when creating new spreadsheets, but not when I download the file, it always wants to save it in the "Web Page" format.
Is there anyway to change a setting so it will not default to Save As a "Web Page" and default to Save as an Excel spreadsheet?
The file downloaded has an .xls extension, not a HTML extension. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
