Outlook not Recognizing Antivirus, constant error

I have the following error message: “A program is trying to access e-mail address information stored in Outlook. If this is unexpected, click Deny and verify your antivirus software is up to date. …” There is no way to get rid of this message, if I click Deny it reappears instantly. If I click Allow as soon as the time period I allowed access for ends the message returns. When I checked the Programmatic Access in Outlook it says “Antivirus status: Invalid. This version of Windows supports antivirus detection, but no antivirus was found.” I have Norton Security Suite loaded and up to date. Any ideas on how to fix this?
