I have been struggling with Outlook 2010 on my new Toshiba laptop for at least two weeks. Bongo (Jerry) helped me get the classic look and color I wanted--here's an example of it from my Control Panel:
But for some reason the theme file he very kindly customized for me produces odd-looking, almost DOS-like graphics in certain views. Here's an example:
I have had to revert to a personalized view that I created using the Windows 7 personalization process, which gives me the look I want in Firefox and other non-Office 2010 programs, but the best I can do in the latter (where I spend most of my work time) is the following, which is a completely different kettle of fish:
When a dialog box opens, I even end up with hybrids like the one below, from a Find operation:
All I want is a Delft blue (not green as it appears in the shot directly above) Classic Windows theme. Is that just not possible in any of the Office 2010 programs? Are there graphics settings of some kind that I need to change? I'm completely stumped.
