Enable links in Outlook 2010

I have Outlook 2010 on Windows-7 64-bit.
Since yesterday I have been unable to use any links in received emails.
When I click on a link in an email I get a message box saying, "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."
Well, I am the system administrator and I have done nothing to encourage this behaviour.
Can anyone tell me how to restore the functionality of links in my received emails, please?

Cheers

Ralph

This thread has been marked as resolved, but with no explanation how this has been achieved.
