Are you referring to Office 2010 - Slipstream with Service Pack 1 - Windows 7 Forums ?

I'd ask for help from the author in that thread's comments. State your specific problems and at which step.

It might actually be faster to get it via Windows Updates. I know it's faster to get all of the post-SP1 updates via Windows Updates after reinstall than the time it takes for slipstreaming.

This was published by Brink. I would do the update. But not sure if I have it. Because I too had alot of problems with this computer for the first year. :)

If you have enabled Microsoft Updates in Windows Updates Settings, then it will offer any SP's or other updates needed for Office. Check both Important and Optional Updates to be sure.

You sound like a candidate for a Clean Reinstall which steps are the same for retail, and will assure a perfect install to the extent that you stick with only the tools and methods given.

Oh boy, what is a clean reinstall. I'm not to savy with these things. I will however, go thru my updates and search. Thank you so much for the prompt replies. Much appreciated!

In that case I'd do the next best thing and complete these steps to Clean Up Factory Bloatware
to see if it gives you some relief from issues.

If not work through the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 which will check out your system thoroughly as well as teach you a lot more about it.

If you need any help with these steps or have a specific issue you'd like us to work with you on, just ask back in a new thread which is titled to attract those who know most about that issue.
