Auto-Link URL from Excel 2007 is blocked

After a recent Windows 7 update, I can no longer execute URL's from Excel. I receive the following message:

This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.

    I am the system administrator.

    Running: Windows 7 Professional

    Office 2007

Is this an Excel control, a Win7 control or a firewall control?

McAfee firewall is on and Windows firewall is off.

    Hi LarryMarshall,

While researching, I came across a thread with a similar issue that seems to have worked. You may want to refer to the steps: Excel 2010 Error Message "This operation has been cancelled due to - Microsoft Community

Note: The steps involve 'Registry changes'; please ensure that you create a 'System Restore Point' before attempting these steps: System Restore Point - Create

    Hope this helps.
