Exel file error

I am getting error when i am trying to open .xlsx file in Excel 2007. I have attached the error screenshot plez help me soon its quite urgent.. Thanks in Advance.

Does it open if you rename the file to .xls?

ya i try that & it works but fthats not original file. It opens in some weird format text. Check screenshot.

i can't do that. Its my office work of other party so really sorry... I hope u understand.

I really need to open this file. I try to serch over net & find some solutions but all failed

I downloaded compatibility exe from Microsoft too but nope its not working same invalid file error.

I try other extentions also like .xl, .xsl, .xml & few more but nope in some cases file works but with that weird text.

It's really the file that's corrupt? Try to open the file on another machine. Rename it to name.zip and open it. It looks like it is a real xlsx file.

When was last time you could open it readable? Make copy of file first. Rightclick original file->previous versions. Try to go back in time. Or use a backup copy.

I don't have too much time to get on here these days as I just got a new job that's keeping me busy so hopefully someone else help if the following doesn't.

If it if corrupted maybe these couple of pages might help (make a backup first) if you havn't tried them yet,

or try some others by searching for "repair xlsx" (without quotes).

[ERROR] 'Error opening file for writing' whilst using ANY installer.
Recently whenever I've used an .exe installer I'll get an error as soon as I click start after choosing the directory, in the picture example I include below, it's of SA-MP, but it happens with any installer I try and use. Office 2007, but need 2003 Exel?
Hi, I have Office 2007 installed on Win7, but I need to use and do an online course for 2003 Exel. Is it possible to just install the 2003 Exel and leave 2007? Any conflicts if I do this? OR Do I have to uninstall Office 2007 and reinstall the complete Office 2003? Thanks in advance. :D

HI. I have a problem opening an excel document. If i open a document it opens excel but shows nothing, it does show in the toolbar the cell that it should be at and wat is in that sell but no work sheet. if i create a new document it opens fine afterwords. Is there a solution for this? Tnx
