Office 2007 Delete and Move Replication

I use IMAP. If I delete a file from the inbox the delete may land up in the delete folder however the delete files spring back into the inbox. I thus end up with two deletes of all the deletes and in the delete folder I am unable to purge. Thus deletes will replicate and the purge function is failing. With that anomoly if I move a file from the inbox the file ends up in its assigned folder however that same file appears again in the inbox thus I end up with two files. That is the difficulty. Let me know the fix, thanks!

I assume you are using Outlook 2007. Is that correct? Have you installed all the Office 2007 Service Packs and other updates? Are you on at least SP2?
