    Microsoft Office 2013

I'm getting ready to go out and purchase Microsoft Office 2013 for Windows 7 from Best Buy, will they be giving me a DVD or will I have to go to the Microsoft site to download it and if I do what browsers are supported

In my opinion it's always best to download anything to do with Microsoft using I.E. Microsoft lovers Microsoft. I have no idea how Best Buy sell things.

you can purchase office 2013 through micrososft or Bestbuy, just look to see what you need because each version Pro, Home, etc has different programs in it.
It runs flawlessly on Windows 7 and Windows 8
You can get it via a DVD or downloadable- your choice
and as Lady said, if you do it downloadable do it with IE
I have it on 2 Windows 8 Pro and 1 Windows 7 Pro machines
I have the Office 2013 Pro version

I have the store bought version (Staples), and it allowed me to set it up on three computers (MS Office Pro). And, yes it comes with the DVD so that you will have a hard copy available.

I already have it installed on a computer running Windows 7, no hard copy, just a product key, and when I tried to install it on another computer running Windows 8, it wouldn't let me, I got it at Best Buy

Lee I am surprised it allowed you to do this because normally you need 3 licenses to do it, keep an eye on it because it does phone home and you might see something from Microsoft popo up
Mine was downloaded from Microsoft and it states it is for one license and one computer only
I tried putting it on another one of my pcs and it installed but would not activate. Told me there is already one activation for it. So I just uninstalled it. I basically did this to see what would happen
Also I found when I did install it on my 1st PC which had office pro 2010 it did not uninstall 2010, which is strange because I did it as an upgrade
Now I had two suites. 2013 and 2010, so I went and uninstalled 2010 but it did take all my emails , address book and accounts and put it into 2013 prior to me uninstalling 2010

So look and see if 2010 or whatever version you had before is still there

I know with Office 2010, only the Home & Student version allowed installations on 3 PCs. If this is the same with Office 2013, and you don't have that version, you can install it ONLY on one PC.
