    M/soft Word - Can't open hyper links ?

I save things in Word and some times news articles etc with a url link, its a hyper link. You mouse over it, and hit ctrl at the same time, and it takes you to the web site . It used to work ok, until last week, and all of a sudden it don't work. I have tried all things imaginable.
It says" This operation has been cancelled, due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator ".
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers. Ken.

Errors with opening links in outlook,

    Mr. Fixit for me,
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310049
Although the above applies mostly to Office outlook it might give relief for word.
    Another alternative,

Hey Thrash. Thanks for this, it worked. I went to the Slipstick link, and looked at the bit that said Allan's suggestion. I remembered that I had installed Google Chrome by accident. I think it was with a Adobe update or something. I then uninstalled it and after that went back to Internet Explorer as my default. However, Allan said install Google Chrome again as default. Then go to internet options and make Explorer the default. Then after this, uninstall Chrome. Wow, I did this, and now my hyperlinks work again. Thanks a million. Cheers. Ken.
