Difference in text size/column width (windows xp vs. windows 7)

I changed from windows Xp to Windows 7. And for some reason the text seems wider (some of the text doesn't fit into the columns anymore). The weird thing is that it has only happened in some of my .xlsx files. I use office 07. It is the same excel program I use, it is only windows I changed.

Does anybody know why this happens, and perhaps how I can fix this without having to disrupt the total sheet width by making the columns wider.
