Windows 7: Excel won't render completely when alt-tabbing (memory issue?)

Excel won't render completely when alt-tabbing (memory issue?)

Hey everybody!

One of our employees is having a problem, and I'm not sure what to be searching for or how to describe it to get good results on google.

When the user uses Alt-Tab to switch between Excel documents, sometimes they won't fully "render".
So for example, the bottom of the application shows a white box (like when an application is hanging).

Where should I start searching, is this a common problem?
Does the application or computer not have enough memory?

Thanks for any help!

EDIT: I should probably clarify that he is using Excel 2010 on Windows 7 Enterprise (64bit)
EDIT: I've also found some issues concerning freeze-panes, but the employee says that sheets without freeze-panes have these issues aswel.
