Microsoft Word 2013 update (KB2817631) error 80070663

When windows update tries to update my Microsoft word 2013, it keeps giving me the error 80070663.
How do I fix it?
I already tried downloading the update manually from the official site, but when I run it, it says "error while detecting".
Please help!

You could try going to Control Panel, select Programs & Features, find Microsoft Word, right click & select Change. This may show a couple of option for repairing it.

I use Office 2013 Pro so I am only offering a suggestion for you to try.

Office 2013 doesn't update through Windows Update, it has its own separate update thing inside the program

That is correct, but the OP was referring to Word 2013. So I assume he does not have Office 2013, only Word, so the updating procedure may be different.

I also noticed from your specs that you have a few anti virus programs on your computer. Multiple av's usually conflict with one another, it's best to only have one installed. This may be a possible cause of your updating problem.
