    Music in publisher

Can anyone direct me to an answer if it is at all possible. I want to make an electronic newsletter for my friend. In it I want him to click on certain articles of interest or humour and when he does, I wish to play a little song that will compliment the article or stir images in the readers mind. First of all is this possible for every article I wish to include music with? I know that in making webpages you can have background music, but I was wondering if publisher has developed in pace with ideas such as electronic web pages with sound. I have office 2013.

    Thankyou

office publisher is for creating paper flyers, posters, fold outs etc.
your best bet would be to create a powerpoint as each slide could contain music, pictures and text, it is possible to add video too,you will need to keep the vids and powerpoint files together in a folder if you are sending them.as the vids wont play if they are on a different computer!
(best way is to put the vids in a folder then add them from that folder to the powerpoint and save the powerpoint to the folder with the vids)
you would have to zip the folder to send it

also whoever you are sending them to will have to have ms office to so they can open the powerpoint files.
you can have one audio track span across all the slides or have snippets from different tracks on different slides
