Changing older Access db 00-3 password in Access 07
Just an fyi procedure; make a copy-backup 1st.
Open Access - Click the Office Button (upper left) and select Open
Browse to the mdb file location and select the file.
Bottom Right - click the down arrow next to Open and select 'Open Exclusive'.
Enter current Password.
From the top menu select 'Database Tools'.
From the Database Tools group (right side) select 'Unset Database Password'.
Enter current Password again.
From the Database Tools group (right side) select 'Set Database Password'.
You will be prompted to set & verify new password.
Basically same steps if the db file was created on '07.
