    Files without extensions


    When I save a word document or an excel spreadsheet some files with strange names (letters and figures, for example 12BB400) and without type/extension appear in the folder where the original file is located and every time I have to refresh to remove them. My Office is 2010 and I have Kaspersky antivirus. Also these file go away when I leave the folder or when I reboot the computer.

    Please help.

Setup: Win 7 Home Premium SP 1 x64 on Dell Studio 1558. In most directories, if I rename "file.jpg" to... "file.JPG" and hit return to commit the change, "file.jpg" is the result. When I go to rename "file.jpg" again and the text is highlighted, awaiting my input, "file.jpg" turns into......
Hi All I am currently running Windows 7. Is there a way that I can play MP4 files with a 'z01' extension? Media player says that it does not recognise te format. Is there anything that I can download to help. or another programme that will play the files? Thanks :)
