    Outlook 2010 un-need boxes

I have one Hotmail address under outlook 2010 W7 that has somehow added additional box's under this account. How do I edit this and remove them. i.e the calendar items sync journal, notes etc... Tx

Just right click on each one that you don't want with your mouse & select Delete from the drop down menu.
Also if you select File, then Options, then Customise Ribbon you can remove or add items to your ribbons if you wish.

What do you have in the Archive folder as it seems that the folders under it are associated with it. Perhaps after you have a look you may be able to delete whatever is preventing its deletion.
It may also contain an existing email account. If it does you may be able to put it back into you email account list without all the associated folders. If it is an email account that you no longer use or need, you can delete it via File, Account Information, Account Settings when that opens you can remove an account.

HammerHead from another thread helped me solve this problem. I must have inadvertently hit Folder List in the navigation pane, chose "MAIL" and everything back to normal
