    how to run FrontPage 2003

I have Windows 7 and Office Professional 2003 SP3 and FrontPage2003. FrontPage will open normally some times. After a few uses when I try to open it, I get a msg saying it could not open normally, then it ask me if I want to open it in a "safe mode". I click "yes" and it will open to a blank page.I can then get to my site by clicking on "recent Sites" in the file menu. If I uninstall FrontPage and reinstall it, everything will work fine for awhile. If I have to restart my computer for any reason, FrontPage will fail to open normally, and I have to go thru the safe mode again. Is there any fix for this? I have tried running the program in compatibility mode for XP with no improvement. I like using FrontPage, but this is really getting annoying. All this happened after I had to reinstall Windows 7. FrontPage worked fine on my initial upgrade from XP to Windows 7.

I'm still using FP2003, although I'm in the process of updating my web sites with newer software. FP2003 has a lot of HTML non compliance.

I also have MS Office 2003 Professional.

What is your PC Spec's? Please fill in the "My System Specs", so we know what your hardware is. How much memory do you have?

    Fireberd...
I have filled in my system specs. FP worked fine when I first upgraded from XP Pro. I have had to re-install Win 7. Not sure when I started having this problem. What softwear are you using to replace FP? Are you running into any major problems with your new program as far as converting FP pages to your new softwear?

OK, I was considering memory as an issue, but 4GB, as long as you don't have many other applications running should be plenty. When you run into the problem, look at the Task manager and see how much memory is available.

I assume you have run detect and repair?

I'm using Web Easy Professional 9 to rebuild my web sites. I can't port anything from FP2003, I have to start from scratch and build the new sites.
