How to revert the setting of Excel 2010 to its default

    Hi,

When someone changes the settings of a Microsoft Excel 2010 file, how to recover its default settings?

I've used Microsoft Fixit tool and also repairing the Office from Uninstall or change a program. Both didn't worked!

Can you provide more information. When you say you want to recover default settings, what settings are you wanting to reset.

Does this only apply to one Excel file or all Excel files.

I meant default setting by the settings which are in the Options menu (for example, General, Formula, Proofing options which are ticked or not ticked from beginning when you open an excel file for first time just after installing the Office) in an excel file. One file or all of the files, doesn't matter much. If I could to revert or set the settings to default ones I can generalize that to other Excel files.

Have you tried all the methods used in this MS website. One method does describe resetting parts of the register, so be sure to back it up first.
