    Double sided printing

    Hi,

Is it possible to print a single page word document by selecting two copies but have them print duplex to save paper?

I cant seem to google the result and my attempts just do the print on seprate pages.

I think Word is seeing the document as a single page (quite rightly) and ignoring any attempt to combine the pages.

    Regards,

Why would it help in needing two copies if both sides of the sheet of paper are the same? How many copies of the single page document do you need? Or if by single document you mean two different single pages?

If I want two documents on the same sheet I copy the second, go back to the first and add a new page after the first then Paste the data in. Looks like that would work for you.

Depending upon the printer you can set it to print both sides, some printers, like my HP Officejet 8600, will print the first page, pull the paper back in the print the other side. Some printers, like my HP Laserjet M1212, will print the first page then prompt to turn it over in the tray to print the other side.

Thanks, the printer prints on both sides no problem - if the document has two pages

What is trying to be achieved is a duplicate on the other side. I'm sorting of think this isn't possible, the only way being is to copy the first page to the second therefore creating a two page document.

If the document has 2 pages, whether both are different or the same, you should be able to print double-sided. One situation that comes to mind in have the same information on both sides is with posters to be stuck to windows or doors, can read the same whether coming or going.
