Well that's pretty much what TeamViewer does. I have used it quite a bit and it is safe and stable. You can set a password, tell me it to let me in, close the session any time you want to, and change the password so I can't get unauthorised access once we're done. I haven't used Skype and I'm not set up to do it.

I'm on UK time. If you let me know, maybe by private message, some times that would work for you I can let you know how I'm fixed. Once we've set a time, I'll need your TeamViewer ID and password - you could set a temporary password just for this session then change it to a favourite password afterwards. As far as I know TeamViewer isn't easily hackable, and I use it to control my work PC, my wife's PC and so on, but please do be aware of the risk.

I think we've got JohnnyScience's Outlook problem fixed. Using TeamViewer, I was able to go into his Outlook settings (thanks and respect to Johnny for trusting me to do that) and found that it was set to search all subscribed folders during Send/Receive. I altered this so that it only swept through the Inbox and Outbox (which are the only places it needs to look), and now the send/receive cycle is down from about 20 seconds to less than 1

Johnny's going to monitor it for a while, just in case, but hopefully this one can be marked "solved."

Yeah it was acting funny a little bit ago, but I just think it was sending an email.

But either way, once again I do appreciate the help because you did speed up the email to what I was looking for.

Everything is working great now.

I had to redo Windows 7 & this is an issue again.

I tried the above steps, but the emails still just have a line drawn thru them & not deleted like I want?

I am having the same issue using AOL . My wife uses aol and they are having serious server issues since they were sold off. She wants to use Outlook 2007 and I cant get it to delete the mail from the aol mail it just draws lines thru it. I can purge the mail but how do I delete email from the aol server with outlook 2007
