It mostly worked, even keeping my customizations on both programs after the uninstall. I only have one problem with it, and I posted my new question there. Thanks!

I read your post on that website & I certainly cannot offer any solution to help you. However, it does seem that you are creating a lot of extra work for yourself, when you could just switch over to Office 2013, convert all your files & carry on.
I know you prefer Office 2003 but we all have to move forward from time to time. Also Office 2003 is no longer supported by MS so it will become prone to malicious attacks & threaten your systems security.
