Office 2013 continually trying to connect to something

Just started this problem today.

When I open up Office 2013 Pro I get this: Contacting: www//.advantage.welliness.inf\ClientEMs\Images

It does not and will not connect. After a minute it goes off and then all the time I am using Office the
same thing happens.

This does not happen anywhere else on my computer except Office.

Why is this happening? I have not gone to this site today or ever.

Thanks for your help.

How can I stop this?

Thanks

You could try repairing Office, to do that open Control Panel, select Programs & Features, scroll down to Microsoft Office Pro 2013, right click on it & select Change & this will open a couple of repair options you can try.

If you don't often shut down your computer & leave it on most of the time, try a shut down & then start up again.

Have you done a scan with your anti virus & with Malwarebytes.

You could also try a system restore, to do that open Control Panel & select System, on that window you will see up on the LH side System Protection, select that & it will open System Properties, select the System Protection tab & then click on System Restore & that may provide you will some dates so you can go back to a point before this problem started.

If all this fails you could uninstall Office & reinstall it again.

This happened when I received e-mail that had a RED X in a block that said this image had either been
moved or deleted. I checked on the red X thinking it would pop up the image.

I think this caused the search for the image that can't be located and Office is trying and trying.

This only happens when I have clicked on this one particular e-mail. It does not happen on any other
e-mail.

I just moved it to my Saved folder until I decide I no longer need the info in this e-mail and then I will
delete the e-mail that is causing the problem. After I delete it and don't bring it back up then the problem
will be solved.

That sounds very much like that email is the cause of the problem. It is never a good idea to click on anything in an email unless you are absolutely sure you can trust the sender. Often viruses & other harmful problems are immediately loaded into your computer when you do this.

Firstly I would delete that email ASAP & then run a full scan with your AV & them with Malwarebytes.

That is exactly what I plan on doing when I am through with it. It has some very important information
that I need to set up remote via my smart phone and desktop to my q-see security cameras.

After I get that done probably tomorrow, I will definitely delete the e-mail. It is from a Support for
Q-See and I have gotten lots of e-mails from them but this one is the first one that had a problem.
I guess there is always a first for everything.

I did run malwarebytes scan on it and nothing was found. Also Kaspersky give it OK also.

Thanks
