SAving settins/preferences and dicitionary on office 2010

Hi,
I'm leaving the country so my Office will be uninstalled on my present computer and then reinstalled on my new one.
I was wondering how I can save my settings and preferences (with 2003 it was simple) and especially my dictionary.
All I am really interested in is Word and Excel actually.
Any advice would be appreciated

(BTW what is wrong with the Office 2010 Forums? Every time I post something it gets blocked by some spam filter for ''illegitimate content? Are you kidding me? The same question above, word for word, was posted there and blocked. And then when you click on the ''report error'' type of thing and you write it down, nothing is ever done about it--sorry I'm rambling on :-)
