Will I be charged next year for OneNote 2013?

I have started up OneNote 2010. I have Office 2010 Professional Plus. It's asking me to upgrade for free. Is this really true? Or will I be charged next year for OneNote 2013. As I understand it, you have to pay every year for 2013 correct?

OneNote is now free so you can upgrade without any future charge, Office 2013/2016 is available at a one off charge or as a yearly subscription as office 365.

Oh I didn't know you could buy Office 2013 at a one off cost. I might look into buying it. But 365 is a definite no for me. Thanks for your help.

Office 2013 was replaced a few days back with Office 2016 so you would be wiser looking at that if you are going to upgrade.

Yes it says 2013 is offering free upgrade to 2016. I just had a look. I think I will just wait and thanks very much for your help again.

I agree. The only great operating system since xp was 7. You would think that they would build on that. Instead of ruining it. Maybe next time.

Are you saying I can have Office 2013 free, because I have Office 2010?
