I had a problem with Outlook 2013 crashing after yesterdays updates. I did a repair on both my email accounts & the one that caused the problem was the Windows Live Mail account, after this was repaired using the Outlook repair the crashing problem has been fixed.
To do the Outlook repair, open Outlook, select File & then select Account Settings, then click on each of your email accounts individually & use the Repair option that is shown in the menu. After doing that the problem was fixed & no more crashing.

Only problem with the fix is that in my case Outlook only stayed open for about 10 secs, so no time to access anything.

Perhaps the latest version of KB3097877 fixes that: KB3097877 re-issued?
