Annoying New Upgrade Banner in all MS Office Applications

So this just started the other day. I have Office 2013 and I'm perfectly happy with it. It's the University version and I have two years left on the subscription (and yes it's legal, I'm a part time student at a qualifying uni).

Opening any office app reveals this (Example from Word):

This is just another overly aggressive marketing gimmick from MS, á la Windows 10. As I said, I have two years left on my subscription and I will not be browbeaten into an "upgrade" which offers less functionality than what I have now. I strongly suspect that I won't get everything I have now.

How do I make this stop? Ideas?

It only seems to be for Office 365.

As it was, I was going for the more info tab and hit the upgrade button by mistake, so I went with it since there didn't seem to be a way to back out.

No functionality lost in this case. MS made it sound like I would get the standard edition on Office as an upgrade, but I got everything. I still have Access, which is what I was worried about since my homework depends on it.

    No harm, no foul.
