I have just reinstalled the MS Outlook Back-up utility for Outlook 2003.
It's important this works because MS has been very slack in failing to build into Outlook any worthwhile back-up tool.
The pathetic Archive & Export features are hopeless alternatives which most folks would mess up even if they tried to use this feature, or find if they had a system crash.
Anyway this utility did work on Office 2000 & 2003 with XP Pro.
Now it fails to even install with Windows 7.
I find it hard to understand MS deliberately leave folks exposed to loosing all Outlook files in th event of a system crash.
Surely ensuring their utilities continue to work is BASIC & if they don't .......... write new ones.
Please don't suggest I buy Office 2007 & advise it has a back-up facility, I don't need further uneccesary expense.
